In fact the owners were so concerned that we not have any other problems they installed a replacement unit while we were out one day. Plus they restocked the fridge with a few basics. They wanted to make sure our vacation and experience at their villa was exceptional....... and it was! We rented the Villa Case du Roy through St Barth Properties http://www.stbarth.com , however this Villa can be rented directly from the owner at VRBO (Vacation Rental by Owner). Larry Li:

If the wind shifts and you need to land from the ocean end of the runway, it isn't a straight in either as there is a hill across the bay that kind of gets in the way of landing and take-off. It's so nice and warm, a little humid but the constant breeze helps keep it pretty nice. The difference is you get to stay for 3 months while we are here only 3 weeks. We will be envious! Although in the picture it looks like a cave, it is actually just a large rock and someone has placed a wooden bench underneath......... a great spot for a quick rest and a drink of water. We know the hike from Flamands to Colombier and the large cave the hike goes by. Our villa in Anse de Cayes is fairly close to this area and although we have been once this trip we will most likely head back another few times. Take care........ Larry & Brenda Donna and Bob
