Final Day of Snowshoeing
Today we headed up to Sun Peaks for our final day of snowshoeing for this season. The weather was not too bad, it was certainly warm however the sun never really came out but you still needed sun glasses from the glare off the snow. The parking lots were full, lots of people on the hill and plenty of tour buses loading and unloading vacationers and their luggage. The snowshoe trails were alright considering they have obviously not had any new snow for quite a while. Overall there is probably 3′ – 4′ of snow in the trees which is a lot less than in previous years; so it could be a pretty dry summer unless we get a bunch more precipitation. Kamloops is such a great place to live….. Golfed 4 days earlier this week, a bicycle ride in beautiful sunny weather yesterday and today it was up to the ski hill. Attached are few pictures from today.

I only got one day of snowshoeing in this past winter. I came home from work and yay there was lots of snow to snow shoe right in my back yard. It warmed up quite a bit the next day and made the snow pretty slushy ~ not snow shoeing snow at all. That was it for snow for us in this snow belt. I really missed it this year.

Good to hear from you! We got out snowshoeing a few times, however there certainly is a lot less snow than in past years…… it could be a long dry summer.
Baby Ava is sooooooo cute and the pictures on your blog are great.
Keep in touch.

p.s. Brenda said “thanks for the oil of oregano health tip we use it regulary expecially when we travel”.
